Hi All!
Sorry that I haven't written in a while. April and May were super busy months, including three keynote presentations for District 11's Toastmasters Spring Conference, Rush County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, and Rush Shelby Energy Employee Meeting. I had a great time, and the feedback has been fantastic! I'll be releasing a CD titled, "Me and My Big Feet", which was my keynote for the Toastmaster conference, soon.
I also met some pretty fantastic folks at ThinkFirst annual conference at the end of April, and we enjoyed Olivia's 5th birthday at the end of May. Now for the activity filled summer!
Next weekend, I'll be attending a Christian speaker's conference in Cincinnati, where I'll be cutting another CD from a radio interview on answers of my faith and God's role in my recovery from the car crash. I hope to be adding it to my website soon!
Lastly, I'm pretty excited to have been invited last week to be a contibuting author to a national book on true stories of inspiration, leadership and accomplishment, titled, LEADING THE WAY: Stories of inspiration from today’s best motivators! It should be coming out before the end of the year, so stay tuned for it's upcoming release. By the way, I'm still working on writing my own book.
In two weeks, my husband and business manager, Chris, and I will be heading up to Chicago for the annual Speakermarch bootcamp. It should be filled with tons of information on building and sustaining a speaking business to provide you with more information packed program options, so we are looking forward to that and networking with successful speakers from all over the company. I promise to keep the updates sooner and less few and far between next time!
