Well, we have survived for five and a half days without cable.  This past Friday, we took one of the antennas back and purchased a different one which has more power to get more signals out of the air.  Woo Hoo!  Our picture on our two high definition TVs is fantastic!   
     Sure, we still miss the Game Show Network, the History and Military channels, and the Nickelodoen channels, but our daughter is finding other ways to have fun.  She is doing more crafts, reading books, and playing with friends.  We've also rented a few movies for family time.  But, we would have done this anyway.  Overall, I think we really haven't missed much without having cable.  But, time will tell, especially when Monday night football is on ESPN, and we don't get that channel.  We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
